A: Correctable ribbon for typewriters is more popular because the printing quality is much better. This ribbon is use for all types of letter. The nylon ribbon do not have the same quality as the correctable so it does not print as sharp as the correctable. They are also known as security ribbons, because they are very hard to erase and that is why they are use for all types of legal documents, checks, etc.

A: Correctable ribbon uses Lift-off tape and the nylon ribbon uses the Cover-up tape to correct any errors. The Lift-off tape lifts the black powder the letter left when it was printed by error. The cover-up tape, covers the error with a white powder. The lift-off tape makes a perfect correction, that is why the ribbon that uses oft-off tape is called correctable.

A: Only the color of the spool. Then the shape of the spool and the material with which they are made are the same. Originally Canon correction tapes use to come in yellow spools and Brother correction tapes in orange and this left us with the custom of requesting the spool color by the brand of the machine that was going to use it, but both tapes can be use in the same machines.

A: A correctable ribbon releases the ink completely onto the paper. The ribbon cannot be reused. Corrections can be made using a liftoff tape. A nylon ribbon is made of inked fabric and can be reused several times. Corrections can be made with a cover-up tape.

A: Matrix inks are especially designed for and used for all dot matrix applications. High density fabric is used for dot matrix applications where high pin count print heads are used (i.e.. 24 pin vs. 9 pin print heads) or where cartridge/printer design dictates a short fabric length (i.e.. re-inking cartridges with seamless loop fabric). High density fabric has a greater thread count per inch along and across the fabric making it able to endure print head impact for longer than the designated print life of the cartridge.

A: We recommend one year from the date of purchase.

A: All of our ribbons and ink cartridges are new. The only cartridges remanufactured by us are the Laser Toner.

A: High quality, lower price, and they are environmentally friendly. We are a vertically integrated toner manufacturer & are able to perfectly match drum & toner characteristics to ensure consistent high quality. Our prices are substantially lower than those of the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges, as much as 50% lower! By recycling, you won’t be contributing to the estimated 4,000,000 cubic ft. of landfill waste that discarded laser cartridges account for.

A: Our cartridges are designed to last as long as the OEM cartridge (even longer in many cases).
